Zürich
My friend Joshua and I spent about four days in Zürich, Switzerland. We explored the busy city center and the relaxed outside of the city. Most of our time there was spent adjusting to the time zone unfortunately. Switzerland is six hours ahead of where we live in America so our nights went late and we woke up in the afternoon. That did not bother myself much because Zürich had some of the most beautiful Christmas lights able to be seen at night. There were lights hung all throughout the city and each street held a new surprise that I could not wait to explore.
Zürich had many Christmas markets and traditions including Santa in the Märltitram streetcar driving throughout the city. Zürich also has the singing Christmas tree that hosts a towering of carolers. I cannot forget to mention the Glüwein, a hot spiced wine, located in every market.
